Wizard SRX Extender – DVI, USB 2.0, Audio

When less is more!
More room and flexibility, less clutter — the Wizard DVI SRX uses only one single CAT6 cable or higher to extend peripheral signals and uncompressed Single-Link (ACU5501A-R4) or Dual-Link (ACU5520A) DVI-D video up to 50 metres at full resolutions. The dual head model supports two Single-Link DVI-D channels and thus requires a second CATx cable. The improved video compensation with the Wizard SRX supports now also CAT7 cables like Uniflex 7702 or Multimedia UC900.

Transparent USB
The extender supports four transparent USB interfaces allowing you to expand your system with USB 1.1 devices as well as USB 2.0 devices being downwards compatible with USB 1.1.

256 byte DDC read and store
The Wizard SRX DVI reads the EDID from the attached screen via the DDC channel and stores it in the local unit's memory to mirror the remote screen, so the graphics card can function properly.

CD quality audio extension
The Wizard SRX Extenders support also embedded audio (stereo channel 16 bit sampled at 44.1KHz CD quality) for the signal transfer from local to remote for a line out headphone use case.

Interface-powered local unit
The local unit of the Wizard SRX DVI can be interface powered if the attached PC outputs are a maximum of 500 mA. If not, the spare 5 VDC power supply (PS649-R3) can be used.

19" rack mounting
Due to its small form factor, it mounts nicely into the 2U 19" Wizard frame (ACU5000A). Up to 16 single-head or up to 8 dual-head local or remote units can be mounted that way.
